Martin County Beyond the Yellow Ribbon and US Bank in Fairmont will sponsor holiday care packages to our troops.
They will collect items to be mailed to deployed military from Oct. 15 through Nov. 9. Items can be dropped off at the US Bank office, 103 N. Park St., Fairmont.
Suggested items are hygiene products, dried fruit, trail mix, beef jerky, books, magazines, etc. These holiday boxes will be mailed in time for Christmas, letting our military personnel know they are in our thoughts and prayers during the season.
