A FAIRMONT MAN FACES ADDITIONAL FELONY BURGLARY AND THEFT CHARGES. ACCORDING TO THE POLICE REPORT 21 YEAR-OLD DAKOTA JOE COLBERT FACES FELONY 1ST DEGREE AIDING AND ABETTING BURGLARY WITH POSSESSION OF A DANGEROUS WEAPON- MAX PENALTY 10 YEARS IN JAIL/35,000 DOLLAR FINE OR BOTH; 3RD DEGREE AIDING AND ABETTING 3RD DEGREE BURGLARY -MAXIMUM PENALTY 2 AND 1/2 YEARS JAIL/ 10,000 FINE OR BOTH; AIDING AND ABETTING THEFT-FIREARM- MAX PENALTY 10 YEARS/100,000 DOLLAR FINE OR BOTH IF CONVICTED AND AIDING ABETTING THEFT -NO CONSENT-MAXIMUM PENALTY 2 AND 1/2 HALF YEARS JAIL/ 10,000 DOLLAR FINE OR BOTH.

THE CRIMINAL COMPLAINT STATES THAT COLBERT ALLEGEDLY WAS THE LOOKOUT FOR ERIC DANNER, WHO HAS BEEN PREVIOUSLY CHARGED FOR BURGLARY AND THEFT OF A FAIRMONT BUSINESS IN JUNE. THE THEFT INCLUDED A HANDGUN AND SOME CASH WHICH COLBERT ADMITTED TO HANDLING. COLBERT IS ALREADY FACING CHARGES FOR THE AUGUST ROBBERY AT THE FREEDOM GAS STATION AND CONVENIENCE STORE IN FAIRMONT IN AUGUST ACCORDING TO THE POLICE REPORT.

TWO FAIRMONT MEN FACE FELONY FIFTH DEGREE DRUG CHARGES FOR POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE. ACCORDING TO SEPARATE CRIMINAL COMPLAINTS 53 YEAR-OLD CARL ANTHONY HILL AND ADEM CLAYTON LEACH FACE PENALTIES OF 5 YEARS JAIL TIME/ 10,000 DOLLAR FINES OR BOTH IF CONVICTED ON THOSE CHARGES. HILL WAS ARRESTED AFTER METH WAS ALLEGEDLY FOUND IN A FAIRMONT MOTEL ROOM. HE HAS PREVIOUS CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE CONVICTIONS IN 2007 IN FARIBAULT COUNTY AND IN 2012 AND 2016 IN MARTIN COUNTY ACCORDING TO THE POLICE REPORT. LEACH WAS FOUND ALLEGEDLY IN POSSESSION OF METH WHEN POLICE CAME TO GIVE HIM A RANDOM DRUG TEST THAT HE WAS REQUIRED TO UNDERGO AS PART OF A CONDITIONS OF RELEASE PROVISION FROM A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE VIOLATION ACCORDING TO THE POLICE REPORT. BOTH WERE ALSO CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA.
