THE FAIRMONT CARDINAL FOOTBALL TEAM'S SUCCESS IN REACHING THE STATE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF QUARTERFINALS TOMORROW MEANS A RESCHEDULING OF THE FAIRMONT JUNIOR-SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL THAT HAD BEEN SET TO BEGIN THIS WEEK AND WRAPPING UP TOMORROW NIGHT.

FAIRMONT HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL COACH MAT MAHONEY, WHO IS ALSO THE SCHOOL ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR, TALKED ABOUT A PHONE CALL HE HAD TO MAKE SATURDAY MORNING AFTER THE FOOTBALL TEAM HAD CLINCHED A STATE PLAYOFF BERTH.. TO TALK ABOUT THE CONFLICTS WITH THE FOOTBALL AND MUSICAL SCHEDULES WITH THE PLAY DIRECTORS.

SO WITH THE MUSICAL PERFORMANCES NOW STARTING ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON AT 3 PM, KATE KALLENBACH, CO-DIRECTOR ALONG WITH MOLLY BLEES AND SARA GUDAHL, SAYS THE PRESENTATION WHICH IS AN ADAPTATION OF STEPHEN SONDHEIM'S PLAY "INTO THE WOODS" IS ABOUT GRIMM'S FAIRY TALES.

SHOWTIMES ARE 3 PM SUNDAY,7 PM MONDAY AND TUESDAY, NOON MATINEE FOR SENIOR CITIZENS WEDNESDAY AND 7 PM AGAIN THURSDAY NIGHT NEXT WEEK.

COST OF ADMISSION IS 7 DOLLARS FOR ADULTS AND 5 DOLLARS FOR CHILDREN. STUDENTS WITH THEIR I.D. BADGES AND SENIOR CITIZENS AT THE WEDNESDAY MATINEE GET FREE ADMISSION.
