|I would like to invite you to attend a Community Conversation meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to gather input from residents, community leaders, service providers, business owners and organizations to share ideas about how Minnesota can be a state in which we thrive at all ages. With the growing number of Baby Boomers who are turning 65, we want to be prepared for our aging communities. The session will help identify the policy issues that folks believe are most important to our future as an older society. The input will help inform the MN Board on Aging’s plans to address issues related to aging in the upcoming biennium. |
A flier is attached regarding a Community Conversation coming up. On October 28th 25th from 10-11:30, MNRAAA staff will facilitate this input meeting. This is a regional meeting, so residents from surrounding counties and communities are welcome to attend, specifically from Watonwan, Cottonwood, Jackson, Martin and Faribault counties. Your voice is very important as we imagine aging in 2030, identify programs and services that are working well and those that need to be improved, and consider the resources needed to implement the programs and services residents throughout the state will need.
